Black Hills Road Trip
February 17-18, the DSU Alumni Association is hosting pre-and-post game socials in Spearfish and Rapid City when the Trojans take on BSHU and SDSMT.
2/17, the women play BHSU at 6:30pm and the men at 8:30pm in the Young Center. We will be hosting a reception in the Young Center from 6pm-8:30pm. Then join us downtown at the Stadium after the game.
2/18, the women play SDSM&T at 5pm and the men play at 7pm in the King Center. We will be hosting a reception in the King Center from 4:30pm-7pm. Join us at Buffalo Wild Wings on Mt View Road after the game.

Commencement
The Alumni play a role in commencement ceremonies as they welcome new members to their ranks. At spring commencement, the class of 50 year graduates is honored. Distinguished Alumni are also honored at spring commencement.
Alumni Spring Football Game
The game is held the first weekend in May. The game attracts alumni who return to the field to test their skills against the current DSU Trojan football team.
Golf Classic
The annual Blue and Gold Golf Classic is a popular event with DSU alumni. Held the first week of June at the Madison Country Club, alumni from across the nation participate to raise money for DSU athletic scholarships.
Hall of Fame Banquet
Held the first week of June, the annual Hall of Fame Banquet honors past participants in DSU athletics. Honorees are nominated by their peers and voted on by the DSU Hall of Fame Committee which is made up of former athletes and alumni.
Annual Alumni Pheasant Hunt
Held the last Friday in October, the annual alumni pheasant hunt is hosted by DSU Alum Doug Jerlow on his land west of Howard, SD. Proceeds from the hunt are directed to scholarships at DSU.
First Tuesdays
First Tuesdays are held at Shenanigans in the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls the first Tuesday of each month (except January and July.) Free food and beverages from 5 - 7 PM for our alumni in the Sioux Falls area. This event is hosted by the DSU Alumni Association Board of Directors. Stop by and say hello!
Third Thursdays
Third Thursdays at Blarney's in Mitchell (held the third Thursday of the month except June, July, and August.) Free food and beverages from 5 - 7 PM for alumni in the Mitchell area. Stop by and say hello!
